These Driver Terms of Service (the "Driver Terms") govern your access to and use of the Truckers Market platform as a driver. By registering as a driver on Truckers Market, you agree to be bound by these Driver Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Website Terms & Conditions.
Truckers Market Ltd ("Truckers Market", "we", "us", "our") operates a digital marketplace that connects professional HGV drivers with employers, operators, and logistics businesses. Truckers Market is not an employment agency in the sense of employing drivers and does not employ drivers. We provide a platform that facilitates introductions, engagements, and payments between independent drivers and employers.
Truckers Market operates as an employment agency within the meaning of the Employment Agencies Act 1973. It does not operate as an employment business for the purposes of the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 and does not employ drivers, unless explicitly stated in writing under a separate agreement.
Nothing in these Driver Terms shall be construed as creating an employment relationship between Truckers Market and any driver.
We reserve the right to verify documentation and to suspend or remove accounts that fail to meet eligibility requirements.
Truckers Market enables employers to offer engagements to drivers via the Platform.
Truckers Market does not guarantee any minimum level of work or income.
Employers pay a total engagement fee. After deduction of agreed platform costs, the remaining net margin is split:
50% to the driver and 50% retained by Truckers Market.
Truckers Market does not act as a bank and does not hold client money beyond what is necessary to facilitate payments.
You are responsible for maintaining any required insurance and ensuring compliance with transport, safety, and working-time regulations.
Truckers Market is not liable for actions or omissions of employers, workplace conditions, or losses arising during engagements, except where required by law.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Driver Terms, provide false information, fail to maintain required qualifications, or your conduct risks harm to users or the Platform. You may close your account at any time.
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to sharing relevant profile information with employers and processing data necessary to facilitate engagements and payments.
We aim to keep the Platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Truckers Market excludes liability for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to fees paid to us in the preceding 12 months. Nothing in these Driver Terms limits liability where it cannot be excluded by law.
We may update these Driver Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Driver Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
